My overall experience and opinion:

The first model I’m going to talk about is the pink punching bag my girlfriend owns and uses regularly.

I have trained with her on it a couple of times and I have to say that this heavy bag is really good.

It’s affordable, well-made, and heavy enough to give you a nice feeling when you kick or punch it even if you are not a girl.

In my opinion, the Everlast CardioBlast is great for cardio, conditioning, and full-body workouts.

Its weight 40 pounds making it one of the lightest punching bags comparing to other models.

Even if this number may sound too little for some of you I still think it’s enough for most people.

Another great advantage is that the heavy bag comes filled and so when you receive it, it’s ready to take some kicks.

The only thing you need to do is install it and for this reason, the package includes a chain to help you hang it up to your ceiling or other similar place.

My girlfriend owns this punching bag for a very long time and still, there aren’t any obvious signs of the usual wear.

My overall experience and opinion:

Тhe second option made by RDX is a big set containing everything you really need to get started into home boxing and kickboxing workouts.

Having in mind how many things you really get for that price I would say that this is the best punching bag set out in the whole market. 

RDX has included everything important inside so you wouldn’t have to go there and buy separate things for your training.

You are even given the option where you want to install and hang the bag.

Yes, you can even do it on a wall using the extra long 1.5 ft wall bracket or you can install it on the ceiling using the ceiling hook.

Both options are included in the set.

With the package, you also get a strap you can use to hold down the bag tightly to the floor. That way you won’t have to deal with the annoying bounce we are all pretty familiar with.

Inside this set, you also receive a set of pretty long hand wraps and a pair of medium-sized high-quality boxing gloves.

They have the same style as the bag making it really visual appealing.

But if you have enough space and you want something longer then you can see why I’m going to give it a 9 out of 10 score when it comes to dimensions.

Materials (inside and outside): When it comes to the outside materials this heavy bag uses some type of smooth and thick leather which is really durable and doesn’t deform. The same material is used on the gloves as well and so far I have to say I’m impressed with the overall quality. On the inside, there is some sort of thick textile which absorbs all the hits really nice. It’s not too soft nor too hard which makes it perfect for longer workout sessions. The overall quality of the materials is good and this heavy bag will last for a very long time. Because of that, I would rate it a 9 out of 10 when it comes to the quality of the materials.

I know many similar brands that will sell you only the bag for a higher price, so if you are a complete beginner and don’t own anything this set may be exactly what you are looking for. My overall experience and opinion:

The third option is from a brand named MaxxMMA.

Their pink punching bag for women is a very unique product which very versatile and can provide you with a ton of different uses.

Here’s a list of all things for which it can be used for: MMA, karate, Muay Thai, US boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, grappling, throwing, and much more.

This alone makes it the most versatile punching bag I have ever seen.

Actually, the MaxxMMA Heavy bag is designed in a very unique way so it can be used in 4 different categories:

1. The most obvious category is that it can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and used as a regular punching bag
   
2. After installation, you can rotate it horizontally and instead of the regular bag, you get an uppercut heavy bag specifically designed for your uppercut training.
   
3. When placed on the ground the bag makes a perfect MMA dummy which can be used for many things such as throwing, punching, grappling, etc.
   
4. The final category is strength training and working out. The bag has 2 handles which can be used for lifting it up and carrying it for all kinds of different strength building exercises and whole body workouts.

MaxxMMA has done a very creative thing when it comes to bag’s filling.

Instead of the traditional sand or texture, this heavy bag uses a special combination of air and water that to some extent replicates the feeling of hitting a real person.

Тhat additional feature provides you with a far more realistic feeling when hitting the bag.

Another great feature I really like is that you have the option the adjust the bag’s weight from 20 to 120 lbs depending on the exercises and type of training you are going to use it for.

That by itself provides you with a very large room for growth and progress and is something not many models offer.

The whole set comes with a pump, glue, set of patches and a long funnel tube to help you fill in up with water.

In my opinion, this is a really great punching bag that gives you plenty more options.

Weight: I really like the third option because it uses a combination of water and air so it’s very easy and fast to adjust the weight toward your specific needs. Trust me adding or removing water is a lot easier than having to do that with sand or any similar substance. And because of that unique feature, you have the freedom to change the weight between 20 and 120 lbs (9 to 54 kg) which is really impressive. I’ve never seen any other heavy bag to be able to do that and because of that, I would give it a well-deserved 10 out of 10 when it comes to weight.

Dimensions: With its 36 inches of length (91 cm) and 12.75 inches in width (32 cm) this heavy bag is a little smaller than the previous 2 options I’ve shown you. But that’s not specifically a bad thing because you can easily change the width by adding more water or hang it a little bit lower in order to be able to use it with your lower body as well. So despite the shorter length, this is still a very good punching bag and because of that, I will give it an 8 out of 10 in this category. I’ve taken 2 points away because it could be a little longer for my preferences.

Materials (inside and outside): When it comes to the outside material the MaxxMMA bag is made from some sort of very thick and smooth synthetic leather that will last. I had the opportunity to try a similar one at a public gym and it worked great. Don’t worry it’s really well made so it won’t leak water outside. Meanwhile, the inner side is made from some type of waterproof material that works great. So overall I think that this is a very well-made punching bag that will easily withstand a ton of abuse and that’s why I would give it an 8 out of 10.

What makes them unique and better than the rest?: I really like this punching bag because it’s quite unique. It uses a combination of air and water instead of sand or other types of heavy materials and that allows it to be very easily adjusted to your desired weight. In addition, it’s designed in such a way that it can also be hanged sideways or used as a grappling bag. You can also adjust the width by adding or removing water which is also a great little feature. I’ve never seen anything like this and that’s why this heavy bag is really unique and innovative.

Who is this punching bag best for?: Because of the extra handles and short design this heavy bag is also perfect for people looking to do more movements except for the traditional punches, kicks, and knees. It’s a great way to train your grappling skills, throwing explosiveness, and grip strength. So if you are a big MMA fan or you simply want to improve different areas in your fighting style this might be the bag you need.

Are there any good alternatives?: Because of the unique design that uses water there isn’t anything close to that but if you are a big fan of adjustments you may want to check the previous model I reviewed – the RDX Set (click here to check it out). My overall experience and opinion:

Everlast has done a great job with this heavy bag.

This is currently one of the most affordable options on the market.

You really can’t go wrong if you decide you want something of good quality which doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. 

Although it’s not pink it could surely help you increase your strength, stamina, explosiveness, speed, and agility.

It doesn’t matter how old are you or what is your level of fitness because this bag can be used by any woman or man no matter their previous experiences.

It could be a great addition to beginners, intermediates and advanced people in martial arts.

One of the benefits of this bag is its outside cover.

Unlike other models, this Everlast heavy bag is made out of synthetic leather which is the best choice when it comes to covers.

Leather makes the whole product way more sturdy and strong when it comes to wear and tear during regular use.

It also helps with the overall feeling and quality of the bag. The outer part is made out of reinforced webbing which helps to prevent unwanted cracks and holes after a while.

That may be a good or bad thing considering your opinion about punching bags and water. But in general, the quality is good and you won’t have any problems in the long term. That’s why I would rate it a 9 out of 10 when it comes to quality and materials.

What makes them unique and better than the rest?: Even if the weight of this bag is almost identical to the majority of punching bags in this category, the overall dimensions are not. What makes this heavy bag unique is the fact that it’s a lot smaller than the traditional ones but still offers the same weight. And the best thing is that the price is still very good despite the size. 

Who is this punching bag best for?: Because of the smaller dimensions this punching bag is best for a small home gym or room where you don’t have a lot of hanging space or height. It is easier to move around and detached when not in use because of that. So if you still want to own a heavy bag but don’t need to get something huge and bulky then this Everlast bag is a great option to consider.

My overall experience and opinion:

The fifth and last punching bag I want to show you is this great basic home boxing kit made by Everlast.

Using this set will certainly have a positive effect on your endurance, muscle definition and reflexes.

The 70 lbs might be a very good weight to handle for ladies who have some experience or want to get more serious about martial arts.

If you have already gone through a few training classes and have a clue on what to do then this set might be a good fit for you.

It’s also budget friendly and has all the basics you need so you can start working out straight away.

The whole Everlast Kit includes:

• A 70 lbs heavy bag
• 2 – 100-inch long boxing wraps
• A pair of leather medium-sized gloves made from high-quality leather
• A strong bungee cord that you can use to add extra resistance and intensity to your workouts. 
• An adjustable chain – for mounting the bag

A cool thing I really enjoy about this whole set is that you will be protected right from the get-go.

The combination of high-quality wraps and gloves provides your hands with great protection.

The total number of accessories goes somewhere in the middle if we compare them with the previous set but it’s still a very nice set.

And because of that, I would rate it a 9 out of 10. 

Dimensions: When it comes to size, this punching bag has the standard dimensions so it’s not unique in any way in this category. It can easily be used for kicks, knees, and punches by anyone even if it weighs a lot more than the previous options. So in this category, it wins an 8 out of 10 for me.

Materials (inside and outside): Even if the outside leather is a little rough it is still very durable and well made. I’ve trained on Everlast punching bags many times and I have to say they are made to last. The same thing can be said for the gloves and wrist wraps even tho the gloves are not the best you can get. But in general, all items are made from good materials. When it comes to the inside I don’t know exactly what’s inside but it absorbs all the hits nicely and doesn’t lose shape. So when it comes to materials and quality I give this set a 9 out of 10. I’ve taken 1 point away because the gloves can be a bit better.

What makes this punching bag set unique and better than the rest?: What makes this set better than all the rest is the 70 lbs of weight, high-quality pair of gloves, and the extra bungee cord you also get. And let’s not forget that this set is made from Everlast and not some 3rd party knockoff that won’t send you half the items you ordered. (Trust me that’s happened to me and it’s not cool).
